LAND NETWORK was established in 2000 when on-farm composting facilities were developed offering local authorities end-of-route drop sites for their green waste kerbside collections. Today, LAND NETWORK treatment facilities are able to process wastes from a variety of sources, as authorised through Environmental Permits.

LAND NETWORK provide composting treatment facilities, ranging from small-scale, low-risk standard rules permits allowing 500 tonnes on site at any one time to 25,000 tonne PAS 100 compliant sites.

LAND NETWORK members hold their own identity and sovereignty but are also stakeholders in Land Network Ltd, a non-trading organisation which controls the LAND NETWORK brand.

LAND NETWORK treatment facilities are all supported by Land Network International Ltd, providing assistance with permit compliance, Health and Safety, sales and marketing, training, auditing and accounts.

Land Network International liaise with waste management companies and other sources of waste to help determine the best solution for waste streams; whether that is at a LAND NETWORK treatment facility or another alliance partner such as anaerobic digestion, direct land spreading, land reclamation, etc.  We will always try to find a solution to the problem and make sure that cost and location are brought into consideration as well as fitting timescales.
